How we rank specialists
Who appears higher in the listing and why. Set out as the rules on online marketplaces require β the main ranking parameters and their relative weight.

When you do not sort the listing yourself, three rules determine the order. They are listed by importance β the first always decides, the second only on a tie, and the third only when two specialists are otherwise completely equal.
1. Those with an available slot first
A specialist with at least one available slot appears before one with none. We want you to find someone who will actually see you, not someone who is fully booked. This rule carries the greatest weight and overrides the other two.
2. We alternate categories
We show one specialist from each category, then a second from each, then a third. A category with five specialists therefore does not crowd out one with a single specialist. Without this rule the largest category would fill the first screen and smaller ones would not appear at all.
3. On a tie, the order rotates daily
Specialists who are equal under the first two rules are shuffled among themselves β the order changes every day. No one holds a permanently better position merely because of their name or because they registered earlier.
4. What does not enter the ranking
There is no paid promotion. Placement cannot be bought here. We have no product a specialist could buy to obtain a better position.
The commission rate does not affect the ranking. Even where we agree a commission other than the standard 20 % with some specialists, that figure never enters the ranking calculation.
Ratings do not enter the ranking. We do not want a new specialist without reviews to stand no chance of being seen.
5. When you choose the sorting yourself
If you sort by price, we sort by price, and the rules above apply only among equal prices.
Filters β category, country, town, price, language and consultation format β narrow the listing but do not change the ranking rules.
